| 4 Star, First Class Traditional Hotel
The hotel is quietly located approximately 100 metres from the ancient Jewish ghetto and few minutes walk from the more lively Strada Nova and the charming Casino of Venice. It is easily reachable stopping at boat stop san Marcuola or Madonna dell'Orto, named after the church homing some of the greatest Venetian painters. The quickest and easiest way is the water taxi that stops just in front of the hotel which overlooks a typical canal.
The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated in a Byzantine style which was not unusual in the memorable past of Venice when she was the Queen of the "Silk route". The stylish marble bathrooms offer mostly bathtubs and along with the newly furnished rooms are equipped with all the modern comforts. Rich and sumptuous fabrics contribute to create an atmosphere.
There is a stylish breakfast room with an intimate Bar to relax and enjoy the bar ,and cocktails. This is a traditional 2-storey building in exposed bricks with pointed windows typical of the Moorish architecture.
The hotel lobby is medium in size, welcoming, elegant and tastefully furnished. Overall, this excellent new property for those who prefer to be away from the crowds and the noise of the more touristic San Mark area, being only 10 minutes away, by boat, from it. The vicinity to one of the oldest ghetto in Europe is another bonus. |
