The long shopping street Cola di Rienzo is the main shopping area and has a very good daily covered food market, all the chain stores and good small boutiques. If your main reason for visiting Rome is the Vatican, then this area is perfect, as the accommodation here tends to be slightly less expensive also. So if you have a young family or for people who prefer to sightsee during the daytime, then this area is also a good choice. |
