| 4 Star, Superior First Class Historical Hotel: Boutique
The hotel is located by the river Arno and only a two minute walk from the famous Ponte Vecchio. Via Tornabuoni (Florence's most famous shopping street) is also only a two minute walk in the other direction. Even though the hotel is on the Riverside to enter the hotel you must go via one of the numerous side streets for which Florence is so famous.
Rooms are medium in size furnished in a good style and carpeted. The colours of the bedspreads reflect the curtains, walls have light colours that gives a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated in soothing pastel colours, giving it a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent buffet breakfast served.
The hotel's exterior is a renaissance period Palace which has recently been renovated thus restoring it to all of it's former glory.
The lobby is large sized with marble floors and panelled wooden desk. At the entrance there is a stairways with a green colour and dark furnitures. At the left side of the entrance there is a comfortable sitting area with brown sofas, carpets and plants.
The hotel is located in a very good position. |
